Da das Fahrzeug ingesamt drei Mal bei der Mille Miglia gestartet ist, waren wir eingeladen in der Klasse 2 „125 years of Road Racing“ zu starten.<\/p>\n

Conte Giannino Marzotto, ein bekannter Teilzeit-Rennfahrer und Vollzeit Textil-Mogul, war gerade einmal 23 Jahre alt als er in seinem von Fontana karosserierten Einzelst\u00fcck bei der Mille Miglia 1951 startete. Mehrere Stunden f\u00fchrte er das gesamte Feld – inklusive der Werkswagen – an, bis er allerdings das Auto wegen der Annahme eines Differentialdefektes abstellte.<\/p>\n

Es war erneut beeindruckend zu sehen, wie sich das Festival of Speed \u00fcber die Jahre entwickelt hat. Auch wenn es zuweilen auf Grund der Massen an Besuchern schwer f\u00e4llt, kann man viele bedeutende und sehr originale Automobile und Motorr\u00e4der aus allen Dekaden der Motorsportgeschichte im Einsatz sehen.
