Im Qualifying am Freitag erreichte er einen hervorragenden dritten Platz. Im Rennen am Samstag konnte er sich jedoch nicht bis zum Schluss gegen den Lotus 16 von Roger Wills und Tecnica Maserati 250F von Tony Wood wehren. Mit dem 5.
